Hey guys.
For some odd reason, ALL new users on this message board automatically have their names in lowercase. Even if you upon registration specified you wanted certain characters capitalized, they are all decapitalized.
BUT, you can fix this!
When you log in to your account, click on "profile" at the top of the page, in the forum taskbar.
Once you are there, click on "Modify Profile".
Once there, find "* Display Name", under the Header "Account Information."
Edit your display name in the "* Display Name" blank, maing sure to capitalize the letters you want capitalized. Then save your changes.
Now you should see your name capitalized the way you want.
Up until this point, when I was confirming new members, I was capitalizing their names for them. Obviously, this could become a burden as more and more members register as we see our community grow. Also, another problem posed by me doing this was that some members may actually WANT their names decapitalized, like moosen' (Neos). I have no way of knowing what members' preferences are, so instead of me constantly guessing and taking shots in the dark, I figured it would be best to make a forum-wide announcement as a reference for any new members who may want to know why their name is in all lowercase.
This should cover just about everything pertaining to this topic. Let me know if you have any more questions.
